Burcott RDA's former Chairman, Eric Wilmott, chose an unusual way to celebrate his birthday on our behalf. A keen walker he gathered a host of his friends to complete a charity walk. It is the latest gesture in a lifetime of support for the RDA - not least in keeping our lorry on the road!

Royal Bath & West Show






















We were honoured to be asked to take part in this year's Royal Bath & West Show, - parading in the main ring as part of an initiative to show the range and diversity of the work horses do and how it contributes to people's lives. That's nowhere more true than in the case of our RDA horses and ponies - who's patient work has such huge benefits.

After seeing what we do Mellanie Corden Lloyd recently decided to run the Flora London Marathon for Burcott RDA in memory of her schoolfriend Taffy:

"Once I had spent a morning observing riders with disabilities spending their time with horses their happy faces told me all I needed to know about this wonderful charity. With the generosity of my family and friends I have raised £ 1432 for the Burcott RDA Group and £ 237 for RDA Headquarters. A huge thank you from us all.
